Background
This workshop is useful for individuals who are interested in understanding infectious disease spread and control on the population level from a dyna systems and modelling perspective. This workshop will introduce epidemiological and mathematical concepts underlying infectious disease modelling.

- Different Modelling Approaches
- Compartmental Models
- Interacting Population Model (SIR)
- Mortality Due to Infection/Disease
- Fatal Infections (SI Models)
- Infection/Disease without Immunity (SIS model)
- Formulating Models for different diseases such as Bacterial, Vector-borne, carrier
dependent etc. - Simulating SIR model in Excel
- Stimulating compartmental model in R (if participants are aware of programming in R)
