    Project Brief

    Mission Utkarsh is launched by Honorable Prime Minister recently to improve the KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) in 10 selected districts. Central Council of Ayurveda Sciences in collaboration with Ministry of Women and Child Development is rolling out a new initiative to improve anemia levels among adolescent girls registered in AWCs in five tribal districts. IIPH-Delhi is collaborating with Central Council of Ayurveda Sciences to support in conducting baseline and endline assessment of the project.

    Deliverables

    The Consultant – Project Manager will work closely with core research team to implements all aspects of projects, in accordance with the terms agreements and policies. The Project manager will manage the progress of project to ensure data collection as per protocol and reporting as well as meet specified project timelines.

    Key Responsibilities:

    The key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to.

    • Coordinate with district teams on a day-to-day basis and monitor data collection process
    • Conduct monitoring visits to the districts 
    • Conduct data quality checks 
    • Prepare interim project reports and share with team
    • Coordinate with stakeholders 
    • Coordinate with stake holder to translate study tools in local language
    • Coordinate with district coordinator and support in liaison with district administration and WCD team
    • Prepare training plan and support to conduct training of investigators
    • Support in pilot testing and finalization of study tools                     
    • Coordinate with admin team of IIPHD to organize district level activities, transport in the field, team travel
    • Liaison with finance team of IIPHD to address financial matters
    • The position will require travel, as per the need.
    • Perform any other task as assigned by the project team and PI

    Qualification

    Essential:

    • Masters in Public health/ Clinical research or any other relevant field.

    Desirable:

    • AYUSH background (BAMS/BHMS/Others) or any other allied medical disciplines

    Experience

    Essential:

    • 5 years of experience of coordinating research project in public health

    Desirable:

    • Experience of working in the area of RCH and nutrition
    • Ability to work in cross cultural teams
    • Ability to plan, conceptualize and organize
    • Ability to effectively lead and mentor the team
    • Ability to manage the team’s performance
    • Ability to prepare reports, presentations etc.
