Brief Bio

Prof (Dr) Jyoti Sharma, MSc (Public Health Research), PhD (Nutrition) is currently the Director, Indian Institute of Public Health- Delhi and secretary of the institute of Public Health Sciences (Society). She has working experience of more than 20 years.  She has a proven track record in mentoring students and professionals, management of research grants, documentation, implementation research, and curriculum development for post graduate and eLearning courses. She has worked extensively with the Ministry of Health, and monitored many projects as a good administrator leading teams to bring changes in life of the down trodden.

Main area of her work is implementation research. She worked on projects related to nutrition, RCH & Immunization, Capacity building of district, state and national level public health officers.
