    Project Brief

    Mission Utkarsh is launched by Honorable Prime Minister recently to improve the KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) in 10 selected districts. Central Council of Ayurveda Sciences in collaboration with Ministry of Women and Child Development is rolling out a new initiative to improve anemia levels among adolescent girls registered in AWCs in five tribal districts. IIPH-Delhi is collaborating with Central Council of Ayurveda Sciences to support in conducting baseline and endline assessment of the project. 

    Deliverables

    The Consultant – Lab Technician will be responsible to collect blood samples of adolescent girls from the selected AWCs and transporting it to laboratory for analysis.

    The key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to.

    • Collecting blood samples of study participants as per SOP transport them safely to laboratory for the analysis                       
    • Support the study team in obtaining lab reports in time                               
    • Support study team to transfer the lab data in study data base accurately 
    • Support study team to adhere to the ethical guidelines while collecting the blood sample and ensure accuracy of data
    • Perform any other task as assigned by the project team and PI   

    Qualification

    Essential:

    • B.Sc/ diploma-MLT from a recognized University

    Experience

    Essential:

    • At least one year of post-qualification experience.

    Desirable:

    • Experience of working in research studies/ experience of taking blood sample form adolescents/ children
    • Effective Communication skills
    • Ability to plan and coordinate with team members and other stakeholders 
    • Ability to manage the team’s performance
    • Ability to prepare reports etc.
