I have done Bachelor in Dental surgery and Master in Public Health (MPH). At IIPH-Shillong, I got the opportunity to study at one of the best public health schools. There are many guest lectures, field visits and surprise modules that allow us to think further. I am currently working on the Malnutrition and Anemia Program where I lead a team of 15 field coordinators, and also monitor, and oversee the pilot and community survey. I learnt these skills during the MPH program at IIPH through various modules. During my courses at IIPH-Shillong, I learnt skills such as program management, teamwork, data management and communication. The best part of the curriculum was the dissertation, which gave me insight into community surveys, questionnaire designing, data management and fieldwork. In my current job, all of these skills are helping me to do my best and receive recognition from the team leader for my performance during my tenure.
